Making Moves™
Our mission is to create a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable.
Equitable, healthy, and safe relationships
Bumble is the presenting sponsor of love is respect, a program of the National Domestic Violence Hotline that engages, educates, and empowers young people to identify, prevent, and end dating abuse.
love is respectDirect donations to women doing the work
The Moves Making Impact product feature gives power to women worldwide. Every time a Bumble user makes the first move by sending a message to a new match, Bumble makes a donation to a woman leader chosen by international development nonprofit Vital Voices.
Moves Making ImpactCreating accountability for digital interactions
We’re committed to creating accountability on and beyond our platform including by advocating for policies that raise the standards for healthy and equitable relationships online and off. In 2019, we helped pass a law in Texas that makes sending unsolicited nude images a punishable offense. We are currently advocating for similar laws in California (SB 53) and New York (A318).
AdvocacyRooting diversity in our DNA
Bumble’s Center of Excellence (COE) stands as a bastion of our commitment to serve and uplift the communities we’re honored to be a part of. The COE works as a cross-functional team, bringing the right minds together from around the globe to accelerate innovation—empowering Bumble to build spaces that celebrate and champion the diverse voices that make us who we are inside and out.
Center of ExcellenceInvesting in our communities
With millions of users around the world, we recognize that this incredible growth would not have been possible without the support of our Austin community*. To show our appreciation, we are dedicated to partnering with 501(c)(3) organizations that share our mission and values, including women’s empowerment, online safety, and healthy relationships.
*We are expanding Operation Hometown to include our global offices.
Building a bigger table in venture capital
Year after year, we see the flow of venture capital to all-women teams stagnate around the 2% mark. This number is far lower for women of color and the LGBTQ+ community. We’re committed to creating equity in venture capital through our early-stage, corporate investing vehicle prioritizing businesses founded and led by women of color and those from underrepresented groups.
Bumble FundKeeping our community safe
The Safety & Wellbeing center is a resource hub built to help our community have a safe and healthy dating experience. To access our resources, open the Bumble app, tap the profile icon, and select Safety & Wellbeing.
Help us make moves
Bumble leans on partners who help further our mission of creating equitable, healthy, and empowering relationships. We’d love to hear about how we can work together to make a difference in the lives of women and marginalized communities.
